Discovery Medical Aid - Gross negligence. ********* practice.

I was deducted R5000 without authorization by discovery medical aid. I was assured by a retentions agent who called me to reinstate my policy which was cancelled without any confirmation by me that all i need to do is pay my premium. I followed the instruction on a discovery representative and sent through all relevant documentation including proof of payment. I requested a refund and half of the amount was refunded. I am awaiting a response for more than two weeks. I have mailed several Times to be assisted and ignored to date. I am a long standing client for more than a decade of good payment and loyalty. I have requested call recordings and ombudsmen details but been ignored to date. Considering we are facing financial strain due to a global pandemic i find it unacceptable to unfairly treat law abiding citizens in this ******** manner. I personally consider this a breach in multiple acts .
