Discovery medical aid disputed authorisation for spinal operation hence I can't walk and I'm in excruciating pain

I had a motor vehicle accident on Thursday the 20th of October 2022 on N14 on my way from work, was rushed to the nearest hospital ( Raslouw private hospital) as I was unconscious by paramedics,then transferred to Muelmed private hospital on the 21st of October 2022 as my network hospital for further assessment and management after being stabilised at Raslouw private hospital.

Did a CT scan on Saturday the 22nd of October 2022 then did an MRI scan on the 25th of October 2022 which diagnosed me as having a shifted disc on L4 & 5 of my lumbar region of the spine,loss of hydration on spine and displacement of L4 & 5. Hence an immediate spinal operation ( i.e. fusion of L4 & 5 ) should be done as I can't walk and I'm on excruciating pain. Discovery medical aid disputed authorisation for operation today the 27th of October, verbalising that it's not PMB related. I called their authorization department,spoke to Ethel,Namhla ( manager) and senior manager who also disputed.

As I speak I'm in excruciating pain can't walk and iv never missed any premium on my medical aid. This injury was caused by motor vehicle accident on the 21st of October 2022. I tried to explain but they told me I'm not a doctor.
