Discovery medical aid declining hospital admittion to a 5 year old sick baby.

Discovery has done it again, my baby girl who is 5 years old had flu and we took her to a GP as per standard procedure then the GP immediately told us that the child should be hospitalized immediately then we were referred to a Pediatrician, the Pediatrician immediately booked a bed for my baby because her state of sickness was extremely bad. Everything was done according to the medical aids procedure and only to find that when we got to the hospital for admittion the medical aid that said there was no waiting period when the dependentswere added on to the medical aid blocked the child from being admitted even when the hospital staff that saw the child insisted that the medical aid should allow the child to be admitted because her stateof sickness what bad. We even had the GP phoning the hospital to find out if the child was admitted and the GP phoned Discovery medical aid expalining the state of the child's sickness and the the Pediatrician phoning the medical explaining that the child can not be turned away since her situation or state of sickness was bad. Unfortunately nothing helped and the child's situation now is bad still. We have been phoning Discovery for the past 24 hours non stop for an update on the case and still declining for the child to be hospitalised. We have spent close to R1400 for self medication to try and remedy or kinda hold on until maybe something happens. Each time we phone Discovery medical aid it seems like no one knows about the case and they keep on transfering us from pillar to post and they all say the very same thing which is "sorry we can not help you"
