Discovery - Medical Aid bullies

I am disappointed by the way Discovery misleads customers.<br> <br> I did an online quote on their website, and then a lady called me offering a medical aid that was suitable for me. She asked for my banking details(Of which I told her that it was not necessary for just inquiring) but gave her as she insisted. She never told me that I will have to pay more than 70% of the actual cost should I need an MRI scan. I went to see a doctor and then he suggested that I should do an MRI scan, to my surprise I was told that I will need to pay R5200 in order to do two MRI scans for my head and neck. <br> <br> Before I joined the scheme I emailed her in order to confirm how GP visits will I have before I could decide on joining the scheme. Debit orders followed without any response from her and without their customer being fully informed of this ****************. <br> <br> Discovery agents are only interested in quickly getting people to their medical aid but do not fully explain the details on what people are paying for.<br> <br> Joining Discovery was just a waste of my hard earned money.<br> I am really disappointed.<br>
