Discovery medical aid assistance urgently needed.

I will further elaborate my complaint due to the issue been related to health I will not go into all the details.

I had app**** for extra benefits for year ending 2023 as it is a matter of urgency. Unfortunately this was declined and the process I needed to follow was an appeal and if that failed I would need to lodge a dispute.

Unfortunately the doctor who I was assigned in hospital was not very ethical in my opinion. He had comitted to motivate extra sessions during our consultations in which he was paid by your offices.

The reason for this request is that he elected to put me on different medication instead of increasing the dosage on my medication pre hospitilization.

I was not well and healed after discharge and he decreased one of my other medications and I need to go on a stronger dosage of the medication.

However the doctor is now insisting that I must go for another consultation for him to appeal the medical aids findings when I dont have the funds to do so and when he was the one to make changes to my medication.

I called into the call centre today and was told that I need to lodge a dispute which I have no issue with. However I was told that there is a SLA time of 30 days. In my current situation and the nature of my condition I do not have 30 days my medication needs to be increased as a matter of urgency and I need other medication of mine increased to the dosage it was previously on.

I need your offices to fast track the dispute, I need to have two more consults available to have my medication reviewed at another doctor as I do not want to deal with this doctor and a formal complaint with the HCPSA will be lodged against the doctor.

I also need your offices to investigate the doctors conduct. It is my understanding that any medical aid can review their relationship with a doctor if it is found that the doctor had acted *********ly.
