Discovery Medical Aid - the “Biggest and Best”!! But beware, after paying the exorbitant premiums every month, for over 20 years, don’t think they will help you when life kicks you in the face and you are retrenched. Oh no, that is when they really come down on you like a ton of bricks. Many, many emails and telephone calls, and the outcome is this: NO, we do not allow a repayment plan. You have to pay the huge amount in full. NO, will not let you migrate to a lower plan UNTIL you pay the Full amount. Discovery cares definitely not about you, but definitely about the MONEY! Shame on you!

16 Nov 2021, 16:40It took me 5 months and countless e-mails and telephone calls to try and get a solution for this problem, but it is IMPOSSIBLE ! Each Mail’s details differ from the previous one. Every amount I “owe” to Discovery differs from the previous mail. Every arrangement I try to make changes from each different person I speak to. It is a comedy of errors and I just can’t t do this anymore. You think you are untouchable and the minions must just accept every fault you make. I have proof of every word in this review . But although I am FINISHED with your *********** staff, I am not finished with Discovery.. Next stop is the Onbudsman and Much more.
Beware people…. I was that sucker that was loyal and paid Discovery over R100 000 per year in premiums and R35 000 out of pocket. It is shocking, ********* totally unprofessional.
