Discovery Medial Aid _ Benefits Cancelled

<p>Regarding my current Medical Aid with Discovery - Comprehensice Plan - </p> <p>We informed the Scheme that we will be resigning from the scheme as from 01 July 2016 - thus all benefits to be in place till the 30th of June 206. </p> <p>On the 8th of June 2016 our Savings Portion with the Scheme was R 9 688.29 - where after a payment was made to a service provider to the sum of R 4 361.80. </p> <p>As per my telephonic conversation with the Scheme on 15th of June 2016 - Accoring to the staff member assisting me (Jacques) where were funds availble and just towards the end of our conversation he picked up that we resigned from the Scheme effectively 01 July 2016 and then he informed me that there is no longer any benefits available. </p> <p>I went to Spec-Savers for a prescribed prescription and upon the query from Spec-Savers the Scheme inofrmed them that they can only claim as from the 1st of July 2016 - where as we will be no longer belong to the scheme. </p> <p>We are still covered till the 30th of June 2016 as all premiums was paid in full to end og June 2016. According to me the Scheme still have to cover all expenses until the 30th of June 2016 even if they receive the cliams form any service provider there after as long as the service was rendered until the 30th of June 2016. </p> <p>For what reason did they cancel our benefits upon receivning notice of our resignation. </p>
