Discovery Maternity benefits a lie!

Discovery medical aid materity benefits are all a lie. We're on the Smart plan and their maternity benefits are all a lie. what it says online is not true! Don't be fooled like us!

I've been trying since 02 Feb to submit a claim for antenatal class/consultations and Discovery's claims department either rejects the claim or asks for different code on invoice everytime. i must have called the claims deparment in excess of 20 times in the past 2 and a half months and no one helps me. it's just a call centre, you nver speak to anyone in the claims department for a clear answer.

Discovery really makeslife difficult. We'reonly with them because of my husbands work,ifmy husband changes jobs we will definately change medical aids1 Resolution health was a breeze in comparison to the nightmare that is discovery!

Since having our baby on 15 March wehave been to the paed and ENT specialist which is part of our maternity benefits but i knw that if i submit it will be rejected.

Suppose the rumours are true.....discovery might be the biggest medical aid provider in SA but definately the most useless and unhelpful!!!!
