Discovery Making life as difficult as possible

so i hurt my shoulder at gym <br> my gp prescribed numerous anti inflammatories but nothing has worked. <br> <br> get referred to an orthopedic surgeon.<br> surgeon is not on discovery list. secretary advised i will need to pay and claim money back from Discovery.<br> R550.<br> i don't really have that money now.<br> called discovery and spoke to nikita and asked what the going rate is for that type of healthcare provider as the relevant Doctor is not on their listing.<br> she started asking things like a practice number and etc , she advised she cannot tell me how much i would get refunded as it depends on the procedure code etc<br> <br> it is just a consultation for now.<br> how can you not tell me what the standard rate paid for a consultation is , i need to take a chance and not get refunded?<br> <br> like taking medicine without reading the side affects<br>
