Discovery = *****, USELESS and UNHELPFUL

I was recently hospitalized under emergency conditions. Discovery has refused to pay my doctor and hospital bills in full despite what they have on the package I have opted for. The essential smart plan brochure clearly states that "all Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMBs) to accumulate to available limits. Once benefit limits are reached funding in respect of PMBs will continue to fund in accordance with the basis of cover as contained in Annexure 7 ", wherein the limit for essential smart is unlimited. Each item on my claim fell under PMB. Upon calling in and emailing Naasera Adams numerous times the feedback from discovery as to why the claim has not been paid, the reasoning keeps changing. I am still in recovery and the stress this medical aid has given me thus far is imposing a further discomfort on my health and recovery. I am currently looking for a new medical aid plan as discovery has provided Absolutely Disappointing service with no concern for their clients!
