Discovery keycare doesn't care!

<p><br />I received feedback from Roseland Govendar re: my last hello peter post, where I detailed my disappointing experiences with the Discovery health's Keycare network. These have ranged from filthy dental equipment to flesh drilling dentists. At this point I have had 100% failure in my encounters with the dentists on the network. In her attempt to remedy the situation, Roseland explained that the dentist are chosen by a third party company and that the only discussions that take place are the ones concerning how payment is made to them. She explained that Discovery takes no interest in the selection process. When I asked how Discovery ensures we (the paying customer) receive quality practitioners, she argued that it is impossible for Discovery to evaluate the "professionals" they add to the list, that they can't be responsible for ensuring quality and I should speak to this "third party" company. What is most concerning here, is that I am expected to be the Guinea *** that pays to be a part of their medical experiment.</p> <p>I am now in pain as a result of a shoddy job being carried out i.e. no filling where there should be one. When I asked her what I should do, she promptly suggested that I try another network dentist - feels like another rolI of the keycare dice to be honest. I proceeded to ask her if there was anyone she could recommend, she then told me that it was not possible for her to discriminate between the dentists and insinuated that my standards are too high. This begs the question, is drilling into a patient's lip the standard that has been set by Discovery health?</p>
