Discovery Key Care Plus

I was on the Key Care Plus plan with discovery health up until yesterday.

During the month of July my kids were ill and needed medical attention. My daughter had a really bad temperature and a cold. In addition to this she had a mass on her neck which never really bothered me as I thought this was an "adams apple" as most would call it, however when she got sick this mass grew in size and worried me. I consulted with our network gp who reffered us for xrays and thereafter a refferal to see a general surgeon. My authorisation for the referral was declined.

I received a call yesterday stating that it was declined due to non disclosure and therefore my membership is terminated.

How am I supposed provide information of a "condition" that doesnt exist. Or rather, how am I to know that an Adams apple is a health condition? What are our benefits if we cannot seek medical assistance when something is wrong.

My son on the other hand has been approved to see an ent specialist (which i also received approval sms yesterday) but due to being terminated I forfeit this.

This is ridiculous!
