Discovery Health is horrible. They don't pay for various PMB treatments. They supply a list of chronic medication and promise to pay for, but then they don't.

They always phone to try to explain things, but the caller always has the same story, and it's never a doctor that phones.

Even when you receive e-mails, it's always the same story. They have a dedicated e-mail account especially for chronic medication, but that doesn't mean anything.

Their complaints procedure doesn't resolve anything. It only generates more complaints.

Their Vitality program rewards members for choosing healthy options, but when it comes to members with PMB conditions, they decide what is best for that patient, and ignore what that person's doctor prescribed.

They also change brokers without the member's consent. How is that even ethical for the member or the previous broker?
