Discovery is the WORST medical aid company in South Africa!!!

Worst medical aid service in South Africa!

I have struggled literally for weeks to get something as simple as forms being sent from Discovery to my house doctor. Every time I call I have to talk to a new call centre agent and explain the situation. Why doesn't the system show my file with the conversation I had with the agent so that they can just read what the issue is, instead of me having to explain it EVERY SINGLE TIME???!!! And every single time I try to explain to the call centre agent that the escalation did not work, they can not by-pass their system to escalate it to the next person! And then every time I have to find out from my house doctor that the emails Discovery sent does not have the attachment they were supposed to send?!!!! One of the call centre agents told me they will escalate my issue and get back to me, only to find out when they called me back, that they are struggling to get hold of the department to whom they need to speak to. Like what?! The call centre agent herself couldn't even get hold of someone internally at Discovery, so how the hell am I supposed to as an outsider?!

In the meantime I am suffering physically and can not get my procedure approved because of total ineffective service from Discovery, which I am paying a lot of money for every month!

It is now starting to feel like Discovery is deliberately not attaching the forms to the emails, so that I don't get the procedure done, and they are playing with my health!! Shame on you Discovery! I will be cancelling and moving over to another medical aid as soon as possible!!!
