Discovery is pathetic

For discovery health its all about money. My mother is a member of Discovery on the Classic Saver plan. She had a double pulmonary Arianism in both her lungs and was transfered to Arwyp Hospital via ambulance from Medi Clinic in Trichard on 22 October 2019. The medical aid paid for everything. Then she was admitted to the ICU and was on a ventilator. No problem. She pulled through and the doctor wanted to transfer her back to Medi Clinic in Trichard which is a much cheaper hospital to which the medical aid responded that they are not willing to pay for the ambulance to transfer her back even though she was on oxygen and had a drip and catheter. So she was kept in the private hospital for another week. Now she has to go to a step down facility in Standerton where we live and once again the medical aid said that they will only pay for 40 minutes of the 2 hour trip. I have been told by the case worker Sue Darcy of Arwyp hospital to trust her as she will sort it out. When I phoned for the 4th time yesterday afternoon I was told she had the afternoon off and that she wasnt able to sort this problem out. She promised to phone me and she didnt. Not even to tell me that she wasnt able to get answers. Now I (her daughter) have to drive to Kempton park after work on a Friday to go and fetch my mother myself in a normal vehicle without any medical background and transport her to the other hospital in Standerton.
