Discovery is more like (DISCOVERED)

<p>My grandmother aged 65 struggles allot with inconcistacies from Discovery health, she is a member for more than 7 years and she never had any issues, untill this year she is strugling with authorations, struggling for the medical aid to pay for consumbles used or doctor visits. One week they will phone and said this or that has been declined then they phone back one week later to say it has been approved. Then the next day they phone and say no its not approved but they advise an alternative options. The main point is she has a lump in her breast and Discovery does not treat it as life treatening. They rather sended her for a Biopsie to be done in Doctors room because they dont approve it to be done in teater, she also had to pay R500 from her pocket for the consumables used by the doctor as the medical aid does not cover it, now the sample has been send away for test but discovery has not informed her if they are paying for the pathology or is she liable? In this country breast cancer or measures taken to identify breast cancer is not taken lightly, but you have been sending her up and down for more than two weeks. Is this how you treat a client of 7 years membership? </p>
