Discovery is a money making scheme

Could someone explain how I’m paying and have been paying for years now, 2000 rand a month and I don’t even have all of my medications covered. There is still co payments with general gps, and now that I need surgery for an impacted wisdom tooth I’m told that discovery does not cover a dentistry done in day clinic/hopsital. Why do I have a medical aid if they are costing me more than I am actually getting benifits from. I am on the tier I can afford, I cannot afford a surgery.
