Discovery incompetence

Im utterly appalled by the incompetence of Discovery medical aid. I had to cancel my mdical aid last year . I owed Discovery R1155 which i paid in September. I used my mdical aid number as reference and i even sent Proof of payment to Discovery. Discovery didnt bother to update on their side. They also handed me over to Shapiro Shaick and devries without my knowledge. They are so fast asleep that they gave The Debt collectors my details of 2009!!! How pathetic. 16 years ago info . The email doesnt even exist as the number. Yes Discovery had my updated details. So not only did they not update my payment, they also didnt update the debt collectors and they gave them 16 years ago details to contact me!!! Of course the debt collectors couldnt contact me cause they had incorrect info. Even though smsses and emails didnt go through because it doesnt exist, they continued to sens smsses and emails for a year!!!! I joined Flexicare beginning November and of curse then i was notified that i was handed over. I immediately contacted the Debt collectors, gave the updated contact info, sent them proof of payment. Now because of Discovery negligance and incompetence and not doing there work i cannot get this issues resolved with debt collectors. I have been charged fees from September up until today which is incorrect. Im struggling since behinning Feb to get Debt collectors to update my payment and reverse the fees charged from date of payment. I feel Discovery needs to resolve this as they are at fault. The fees debt collectors charged must be reversed from date of payment. And they must clear this from itc. This is utterly pathetic If this matter does not get resolved im cancelling my membership due to start in April
