Discovery heavy handed approach

I am approved for chronic medication. As I was going to be away for 2 months, I git the pills at the end of March for April and May. I am back in Cape Town and submitted my claim now only to be told that I should have received prior approval. This is shocking as I was totally unaware of this and my pharmacy also did not mention it. I have been a Discovery member for years. This is a sad indictment of the company. Talk about red tape!!!!!!
