Discovery Health? What a joke.

I have never been fond of the Discovery Group. The endless cold calls from their insurance arm and the "surprise" of the telemarketer at not being able to match my existing short-term premiums have become monotonous. But it is nonsense like this from Discovery Health, rejecting 57 cents -- yes you read that right -- 57c out a claim of roughly R520. That smacks of petty bureaucracy. Nevermind Discovery Health. I will drive off to my doctor, costing me time, diesel and inconvenience. Oh, yes, and I need to find me some coppers (though where the two cents are coming from I have NO idea)... I don't know I am surprised though: this is the company second-guesses doctors and then refuses to pay (cf the eye stent case)...
