Discovery health want payments for services that were not used

I had a medical aid with discovery. After I was entrenched on December 2018. I called them and advise. Early on 2019 I called to terminate the member ship. On March I pick up that my membership is not terminated but suspended. I called asking the to terminate. On April, I get a job from a new employee who they don't use discovery. They wanted me to register with their preferred medical scheme provider. I couldn't register cause they advise me to cancel Discovery that still indicate is active. I call discovery again to ask them to terminate. They refused to do so. The membership is still not terminated and they want me to pay premiums for the last two months that I was suspended. I did not utilised the medical aid for any transaction on the suspended month and I was unemployed. But they still expect a retrenched unemployed suspended member to pay for the service that I did not use. Now I cannot join any medical scheme cause they are still claiming I have a Discovery membership. This discovery membership has been unable to function for the past two.month as the status is "Not active"
