Discovery Health - Very Poor Service, they only after your money

So I had a bump (more like a cyst) growing on my scalp and my GP advised that we do a biopsy and send the specimen for histology.

The results came back and said that I have a level 2 Melanoma. So the GP referred me to a Discovery network Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon to investigate further and suggest a way forward.

The Surgeon advised that we need to do another biopsy send it for a second histology and take it from there.

To my surprise, Discovery refused to pay for any of this (the consultation, the biopsy and the histology) in fact they rejected my claims without even notifying me. What a shame!

I am very disappointed with Discovery, I mean what is that you cover? We talking a life threating disease and you don’t seems to give a damn. Shame on you!

I will definitely look elsewhere in 2022, maybe Momentum offers a better service.
