Discovery health unwillingness to assist young soon to be married couple.

Discovery membership no: ***

App**** for my partner to join my medical aid as a dependent in early November 2020. She was with Discovery for the last 5+ years and cancelled her service to join mine. Did an online application and provided all the required information. I have not received a single call or email and it is more than a month later. I contacted them today only to tell me that she has not paid the the outstanding balance for terminating her account - which she has paid on the 1st of December. Next issue is that for some reason she would not be able to join my account/package and that we should move to a more expensive plan or she could only join in January 2021. Our whole reason for changing was that we will get married in March 2021 and would like to save some money in the process. Discovery is not willing to assist in anyway whatsoever. Both of us have been loyal paying clients for many years, I myself have been with discovery for almost 30 years (from my parents to me being independent). I could not care less what the underwriting requirements are. Fact is, we have been loyal paying clients that would like to join on one account and save some money as a young married couple and Discovery does not want to help. I will have no choice but to change from medical aid if no Discovery is not willing to assist.
