Discovery Health top plans refuse to pay for Dr visit's or annual checkup even though the benefit existed at year start

Discovery health changed the scheme rules mid year without notifying the members .We have a high medical aid we pay with Doctors benefits even when the medical savings run out .We have been going to the same Dr for years now discovery has decided that we have to have a virtual Dr appointment before they will give us permission to go to our General practitioner .What a load of bull**** .They have cause me to have a R2500 Dr bill that they now refuse to pay for that are also for prescribed female checkup benefits that they refuse to pay for as well .Discovery health sucks cant wait for year end to drop or close my plan. Theirs call center can only follow the script that they given the rules are the rules good bye .

Yes and yet all you did was go around in circles avoiding the issue and not provide any assistance at all .None of the procedures we did go be done virtually unless they are now able to do procedures .So now I have to find another R2500 to pay my GP for procedures ]ontop of the R13500 you ***** from me every month for non service of things you should pay for and if I need to go back I have to ask Discovery permission via Virtual doctor with stranger or go to a pharmacy at a additional cost to see another stranger about my medical problems .Well guess you know what my feelings are about that .I think I made it clear the sooner the end of the year comes the better .Goodbye discovery poor service total ******* medical aid even on a top plans .
