Discovery health - Top down disrespectful behavior

I consulted an infectious diseases specialist on the 7th February 2018. On the 9 February 2018, I was informed by the doctor that discovery health only paid R 298.85 which was confirmed by discovery on the 12 February 2018. I paid the difference of R 545.35 to the doctor on the 12 February 2018 which settled the account. Discovery since did a reverse payment and paid the doctor the amount of R545.35 which in fact was already paid. There was absolutely no communication with me to explain why this was done or to confirm whether I had already settled the account with the doctor. On 21 February 2018, I received a call from Rameez from Discovery health informing me that there is an amount outstanding on my membership fee and that I was to give permission for this amount to be paid to Discovery. I refused to give permission. He then threatened that the account can be handed over or that the amount will be taken off future reimbur*****ts to me. I feel that this is so disrespectful. No communication, just action taken by Discovery then a demand for payment and threats. The powerful Discovery can do as they please, choose when to communicate and the member must ask how high when Discovery says jump. So when it comes to Discovery the member must just pay and shut up or be threatened by the powerful medical aid.
