Discovery Health the worst medical aid ever!!!

Worst Medical aid ever! My daughter was admitted in hospital at the end of July and diagnosed with a herniated disc. She is in so much pain and our orthopedic surgeon suggested she goes for a Rhysotomi as soon as possible. Discovery refused unless she has facet block injections first. She had the facet blocks which we had to pay R4,700 for out of our own pockets because our medical savings are depleted,. The facet blocks did not help at all. Now they have come up with another story saying she has to wait 4 weeks before she can have the Rhysotomi. This child can hardly walk let alone sit or lie down. What are we paying almost R7000 for per month???
