Discovery Health Sucks!!!

Discovery Health became one of the most expensive medical schemes if not the most expensive one. Monthy installments of their medical health schemes increase annually with 10 to 11% although benefits for clients are getting less year after year . Year after year Discovery Health pronounces greater profits in the media which they are very proud off. It is clear that their main focus is money and not the well-being of people. KDue to my health condition I was told by Specialists to ony use the original medication prescribed and not generics. Apparently generic medication is not as effectice as the original ones. I was amazed recently when informed by the Pharmacist that Discovery do not pay anymore for medication prescribed for me but, only for cheap generics. Penny wise pound foolish!! It does not makes business sense if one considers the risk that a persons who’s health is deteriorating due to generic chronic medication used instead of the origal medication which will keep him/her healthy and out of hospital? If one consider how expensive Discovery’s health schemes are and the are not even prepared to pay for good chronic medication they need to be ashamed of the way in which they are doing business and generating massive profits!!
