Discovery Health rip-off

I am member of Discovery medical aid (Classic comprehensive). I joined beginning of the year, this was without endless problems. On joining, i was told about the Self Payment Gap (SPG), which was about R3200. 4/5 months down the line i realised the SPG is R4500. I asked one of the Discovery agents who came to some function. She told me she will investigate. The reply was that the gap increases. She says when i joined the agent should have informed me of the ever increasing gap. She also said it is written in the brochures, as a fine print. She looked for that fine print and she didn't find it. I am currently sitting at over R5 000 (SPG). This is a rip-off. My medical savings account is exhausted, so now I have to pay from my pocket and the gap is also increasing....on the other hand I am still paying for the medical aid monthly. I can't comprehend this especially that the gap is increasing. I signed because I knew the fixed amount was R3000 now its over R5000.
