Discovery Health REFUSES to honour maternity benefit.

Discovery Health did not honour my claim for an item that I purchased at Dischem Baby City. I called there several times and was rudely informed that I needed a practice number from Dischem, and without this I would just have to write off the claim. How exactly are customers supposed to know that Dischem (a pharmacy) has a practice number and Dischem Baby city does not. Dischem and Dischem baby city are parent and subsidiary company, respectively, and Discovery is well aware of this and still does not have a system in place to capture claims for purchases made at Dischem Baby City? Why is that and why should a customer call over a period of 4 MONTHS and be told to drive between Dischem and Dischem Baby City THREE times just to get this sorted. I am so disappointed with Discovery, till today they never paid my claim even though I am entitled to it under my Maternity Benefits. To have Discovery which claims to care about health, force a new mother to drive around everywhere trying to sort out a claim for a breast pump is truly shocking and *********. The last call back I got was in December and I was given reference number ***. I hope this longstanding issue can be resolved and have every intent to follow it up until it is concluded.
