Discovery Health Oncology Care

Please be very careful and aware that Discovery Health does not cover Oncology procedures as outlined in their cover information. Even with an onology program registration, prior authorisation notification and procedure referral , Discovery will not pay or review my claims.

Paying a top premium Comprehensive medical aid cover will not provide you with communication, treatment or cover, even if below R5000 and having not used your yearly oncology cover allocation.

I will have to look at Bonitas Oncology Insurance as they have an excellent record of cover and payment when needed.

Discovery has grown to a very large company, and claims to provide exceeding health care, but it is proving to me that they do not follow the standards and level of care they claim to provide.

Do your homework first and make sure you are covered and are backed by a company that upholds integrity and client care as a priority when it comes to medical insurance.
