Discovery health not shocked again!

<p>Hi my name is andiswa mbekela my membership number is ***. I gave birth on the 5 April at Christian Barnard Hospital,i gave birth via c-section and had complication as soon as i got out of theatre where my blood was not pumping and it clotted that was only the beggining. Dr Hofmeyer was my gynea and she was.the only gynea available.with quickest date as i was already 4 mnths pregnant-i had to pay a co payment 3500 before 36 weeks as clients who are on coastal saver must pay the co payment then discovery will settl the balance of 5000 as charges 8500.After i gave birth i was hospitalized for about 3 weeks because my stiches broke and i had to have a wound cleaning mind you i was opened up 3 times.Ive received a 7000 bill for Dr Hofmeyer because discovery refuses to pay her while i was in hospital as she had to check up on me jus like any other doctor would need to check up on their patient,why must i be liable for a payment that should be paid from my hospital savings,who was suppose to check up on me? She even wrote a.motivational letter as to why i had to be hospitalized for more days but they still refuse.im still healing from being opened up 3 times now i mus face bills that i pay 2000 every month for medical aid! THERES ALWAYS SOMETHING ***** WITH DISCOVERY HEALTH AS THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IM EXPERIENCING THIS KIND OF SERVICE</p>
