DISCOVERY HEALTH NO VALUE FOR MONEY-- UNFAIR WAITING PERIOD

Discovery Health or medical aid want me to be on waiting period whilst i was on medical aid ( GEMS) without any commodities or chronic illness. when i asked them why i should i be on waiting period , their underwriting assessor Mr or Ms V Pillay asked me why did i leave GEMS. i mean that is one of the unprofessional questions you could be asked by a person at the level of Mr OR Pillay. he should have responded to my question why must i pay medical aid and not be able to use it, and why must is i still pay your medical aid at the same still pay for my medical aid? Their call center agent Busisiwe in Port Elizabeth could not answer. this is unfair practice indeed, i could imagine how many people are going through this practice monthly and how much is Discovery medical aid making, for a services they are not rendering. where is value for money. this is indeed day light *******. why was i never been told when i join that i would be on a waiting period, maybe i could have joined another progressive medical aid. when i receive your medical aid card you said , my medical aid will start from 01 February 2022, now its March 24, i still cant use or access my benefits. this is wrong. Unless my benefits are unlocked, i would gladly go and look for a new medical aid, i would also be expecting my refund of all monies i have paid.
