Discovery health medical aid

My husband went in for an operation in 2020 so we informed discovery in 2021 that he lost his job so he can not work anymore and we can't afford them after the email we phoned them and asked them to cancel our medical aid and asked if we own anything on the medical aid the lady we spoke to told us if you cancel you'd don't own anything in March 2021 discovery send us a email to say when need to pay close to R90000 and we asked for the recording because they record everything till date I am still waiting for that recording in the meantime I pay the account so they handed us over to Shapiro schaik attorneys I struggled to get information from them they didn't want to help us fill in the forms for debt review I called discovery and told them we are struggling with the attorneys and they said we can pay discovery ourselves so we dis that every month I asked many times for a statement so that I can see if they receive the payments I make till date I don't receive response from them
