Discovery health medical aid

<p>Seen by a doctor this morning. Diagnosed with a possible unstable Angina. Hospital calls Discovery for auth. Discovery tells hospital that they have to send my case to standard board to approve my admission it can take up to 8 hours. Hospital tells me I need to go home they will call me when my admission is approved. I am told to wait 8 hour with an us table angina for Auth when I have been a member of discovery for 5 years with no previous hospitalisation or claims more than R600 in 5 years. What is the point of me paying them</p>
