Discovery Health / Keycare + Plan

Goodday,

1. I am on the Keycare Plus Plan of your medical aid. I was adviced that all medication work on a formulary which i don't have a issue with. My GP prescribe me medication for pain. I am supposed to drink 6 tablets a day for 30 days which make it 120 a month, Discovery pays 30 pills every 120 days? Basically you pay 5 days of 30 days medication? You adviced me as long as the pill is on the formulary you'll pay, what's the issue now?

2. Our GP needs to refer us to specialists to prescribe some medication , why not give the GP the authority to do it they after all learnt to do it?

3. Eye Drops: Discovery wants the patient to have a certain disease first to cover eye drops, otherwise they don't whats the reason for a medical aid, then if the patient don't get the eye drops it leads to operation which will cost Discovery even more?
