Discovery Health Key care plus plan is a **** of note. I have been paying a monthly premium and have hardly used the services. In the passed 12 months it would be an exaggeration to say that I have used at least 10% of the value of what I have been paying. Anyway to cut a long story short I visited my network GP who referred me to a specialist as per procedure. Guess what! Yup, you guessed it, the specialist dermatologist is not covered by the plan and now I must pay for the specialist visit out of my own pocket. Wow Discovery health should actually just give me a section 18a certificate for all my contributions as it appears my payments are nothing more than a donation to them. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this because corporates always win.
