Discovery Health is not worth it!

Whatever you do when looking for a medical aid do NOT ever even consider Discovery Health! I have been with Discovery since 2005 and have never had such bad service ever! As a pensioner I had to change to a hospital plan only and was told that my chronic medication will be covered but lo and behold today I got a call from my pharmacist to say that the medical aid will only pay half as I had run out of MSF! How can that be when they paid all our chronic medications for all these years and as far as I understand chronic medications should not be paid from medical savings funds! I am a type 1 diabetic and have cardiac issues and with these conditions not taking my meds will soon make me die! Discovery would rather see their customers die than have to keep to the laws! They are very happy to take ********** amounts of money from you but when you actually need them they won't cover anything that is important for you to stay alive! PLEASE BE WARNED
