Discovery Health is a useless and a ****

Honestly feel like Discovery Health is a **** ripping us of our money with the salary band allocated medical aid options. First, i had to go for a surgery which the gynae called to get authorization for but Discovery Health declined only to approve it after i called demanding to know why i was told there are no waiting periods on my medical aid. Secondly, after the surgery I'm being told that medication is not covered even under the prescribed minimum benefits ot whatever the **** they call it. When i asked the consultant why I can't get medication that should be covered by the medical aid, the consultant said i can pay for it myself and claim it back but i shouldn't expect to get my momey back. Then the same consultant had tje audacity to tell me i cam change my medical aid if I'm not happy. To add salt to wound, Meagan who i assume is the manager keeps telling me that i have to pay for my own medication same as everyone under Discovery health. Why say we get a certain amount allocated to medication but when we need this medication we are nit covered or its not under PMB... Talk about ripping people of their hard earned cash and not giving a **** about their basic health needs which they are paying for??
