Discovery health Hospital plan

My mom has discovery health hospital plan and i receive an email saying my mom owes R103 .00 and therefore they stopping her benefits for R103.00 and she is 60 yr old. Today my mom fell sick and we paid the R200.00 but she her medical has not gotten activated .My question we pay these premiums and yet a basic right to go to hospital is denied just because of R103.00 .I think we im South Africa pay far too much for medical aid and enriching these medical aids. If we had good public health care we would not be forced to use these private medical aids. I do hppe NHS comes in and asssits penioners like my mom . She had to false discharge just because her benefits stopped for a mere R103. 00 . Diacovery has become only there for the elitie!
