Discovery Health .... HORRID

What an absolute HORRID experience! I have been a Discovery member for many years, and also have Life insurance and other products with them. Last year I went through a divorce from a man who was basically the only one in our family making use of the medical aid. Myself and our daughters almost never incurred any costs/treatments. I took him off my membership, and still said that I will take up the medical aid again early in this year. And so the problems started: 1. In Jan 2026 I was contacted by debt collectors (from Discovery stating that I owed them money). Upon investigation it was discovered that Discovery NEVER communicated any debt/penalties to me. Discovery took me off the company's list, and we agreed to a monthly amount with an apology from Discovery, 2. In Feb 2026 I wanted to reinstate my membership for me and my two children. I had a knee operation last year, which they queried even though the have ALL of the documentation!!!!! 3. Then they stated that the application is referred to the financial department because of the penalty!!!! But everything was put in place, and the first Debit Order went off, 4. In 2019 (7 YEARS!!!!!) ago, my daughter received a mini device to simply help with normal (but very heavy menstrual bleeding). Now I must incur costs to try and get the Dr of 7 years ago to write a report about treatment for a year old.

This is not the first hiccup with Discovery as you have made yourself guilty of ***** in the past (2011 specifically) when you duplicated my ID number for another memebership, and my report concerning your HORRID service and lack of communication will be sent to CMS.
