Discovery Health have no empathy

My teenage daughter needs a brace because she has bad scoliosis. Discovery have declined paying for one due to the plan I am on even though I can't find any literature stating that fact. Regardless of the plan the pain my daughter has to endure, the complications that will arise that they will have to pay for and not to mention spinal fusion surgery (God willing that we will not have to go through). So the fact to save a couple of thousand rand now versus millions later is their professional stance. Very clever Discovery! Have you ever just thought of the human impact of a condition like this on a teenage girl. If anyone has teenage girls that may have the possibility of having this condition I would seriously advise you to think twice about Discovery.
