Discovery Health dishonesty

I have a health insurance policy with discovey, had a tough month and my debit was unpaid. Phoned them up and I was assured that my policy is paid in advance and that services will still be rendered. Got sick, went to doctor, had to pay cash for my policy was on hold.. So after that they still double debit the following month. Which means I pay for nothing. Now I pay for a family of 4 people, that means it is quite a large amount of money. So I paid for no services for the previous month which I feel is thieving.
