Discovery Health Default my name

I am currently a Discovery Client, but only found out that they've handed me over to ITC and defaulted my name for a measly R2k. I have never received a call regarding this and when i speak to member debt department all i get is a "Sorry" and they will remove the default which takes 3-5 working days. Do i have that amount of time? What about my name that has now been tarnished by this company?? What happens to me?
