Discovery Health - co-payment for procedures

I had a procedure and a co-payment was app**** to my account however the co-payment amount is in excess of the actual cost of the procedure. Despite requesting clarity I have been advised that the co-payment app**** is standard but it fails to take into account that the actual cost of the procedure is much less than the co-payment app****- this makes no sense.
