DISCOVERY HEALTH AT IT AGAIN!!!!!

My moms PMB benefit for stoma bags and other essentials she requires to manage her stoma on a daily basis was approved May 2015, after months of speaking to different people. It took 2 months to finally get it approved and then all of a sudden it was approved from 1 Jan - 31 Dec 2015. <br> The Stomatherapy company's supplier put their pricing up during October 2015, and now Discovery is refusing to pay Nov/Dec pmts [about R1700] based on the fact that it was not in line with the pricing they had on their system. Been backwards and forwards yet again with Discovery trying to get this resolved - the fact that they only approved my moms PMB application 2 MONTHS LATER - surely they can work out, as an option, that those 2 months [March/Apr] could equate to Nov/Dec.<br> Then the other option is to realise that Discovery were supposedly meant to amend their own systems based on the suppliers increase in pricing.<br> But who is now the victim, a 69 year old woman, that went through hell in hospital over 3 mths and who is panicking as she is running out of stoma bags and everything else, and to top it all the Stomatherapy company refusing to now issue my mom with goods due to non pmt by Discovery!
