Discovery Health, a STERLING medical scheme!

I am going into hospital for diagnostic tests under anaesthetic. When I phoned Discovery Health for an authorisation number, the consultant, Aimee Schady, told me that with my plan I had to pay R10 000 upfront out of my own pocket unless I could get a PMB diagnosis confirmation. She offered to contact my doctor's practice and request any diagnostic results that would motivate for this R10 000 to be waived. After a medical report was submitted by my doctor to Discovery Health, the R10 000 was indeed waived. Aimee kept in contact with me via e-mail and phone and was an absolute STAR! She was professional, competent and friendly and was prepared to go the extra mile. She was also a very sweet, kind person and I really appreciate her excellent service.
