Discovery Health

Hi, I recently received a letter from discovery health stating I need to send in my documents for income verification. I sent through all my documents only to find out that they increased my premium by almost R1200. This I feel is utterly heartless coming from such a so called reputable medical aid and to do this during this time of covid when we need a medical aid the most. I have been with discovery for more than 10 years and now to be treated in this way is truly not right. Discovery Health boasts about caring for people but that does not show cause they are killing us with their premiums. Now I'm literally forced to cancel my medical aid due to affordability and if my 4 yr old son gets sick, I have to now cough up the money to pay for his dr or hospital visits/stays. One thing I have learnt and that is when it comes to money, Discovery Health puts people last.
