Discovery has rapidly downgraded, horrible next to nothing benefits, you might as well not even have a medical aid, and save yourself thousands.

My premium has doubled, but benefits have been cut by 80%. I dont know how that makes sense. Discovery has never paid for prescription medication, and use to be fairly decent, by as of 2024, I would consider this medical aid, equivalent to being useless. I’m very unsatisfied. Discovery is losing clients at a rapid rate. The consultants over the phone has a practiced script, but over no help, because their hands are also cut off. Ive cancelled this medical aid, unfortunately im pregnant, and can only rejoin a proper decent medical aid, after Ive given birth, other wise I would have left it immediately and not waste money on it any longer.
