Discovery handed me over without contacting me

On the 11 February 2015 I received an sms from Shapiro Shaik Defries & Associates that my Discovery Account has been handed over to them i must pay R1081.97 I called the attorneys to Enquire with them for which account, they couldn't tell me they said I must call discovery. When I called discovery they told me its a reversal claim from my previous medical aid when i asked them why i was not called they said there's nothing that they could do the account is with Attorneys. On the 16 Feb the Attorneys sent me a statement that i owe R1227.41 I decided to pay the amount to avoid more increases from the Attorneys. To make matters worse I was in the process of buying a car in February then the dealer told me i cant get finance because I'm a defaulter and they requested me to request my credit report from Trans Union, on the report i was listed by discovery for R940 i sent them emails they never responded when i called I was told my account is with the attorneys there's nothing that they do. I was shocked because I never received an sms nor a call from discovery i need to know why they listed me and I want my money back because this was never communicated to me. I need answers ASAP
