Discovery Gap Cover - Robot (inefficient) client interaction
At this point I am convinced that Discovery's gap cover client servicing is manned by robots who are trained to only send one automated template reply. Maybe if they were machine learning robots my engagement with them would evolve beyond "Please send us an updated application form."
I must firstly say that I do not enjoy using the Discovery app anymore because I can't get rid of all the sales adverts urging me to sign up for every new service Discovery is selling. The app is to track my vitality etc, but I have to navigate around ads all the time.
Secondly, after finally agreeing to sign-up to one of the many ads, gap cover, I have been unsuccessfully trying to do so for 5 months (yes 5 months). I am not even a high risk client nor do I have a bad health record. How hard can it be to give you my money? I send the required forms to you, you send me an automated response to send you the forms. I resend the forms, you send me an automated response to send you the forms. And repeat. It is maddening. Inefficient. Almost unbelievable. I use to think Discovery's client servicing is good, but judging by the poor ratings on this forum Discovery is heading for trouble if this continues.
